- NEW STUDIO CD NEWS.

During last february, Tomalo started to record their 4th. studio album in Howard`s Jail. Right now the recording is on the Voices step.
The ilustrated cover of the new CD booklet was made by Julio Azamor, sketching of "Catzole" magazine. The photo session for the new album was in charge of Pablo Brand ( "Love is..." video ), and Viviana Ramella is in charge of the album design. The next album will have a dark and hard image. The CD would be edited and it will contain between 13 and 15 songs.

 

- ANOTHER DIMENSION FOR THE RADIO.

 
R@DIO DIMENSION from USA is playing twice a day Tomalo's single "Seguir". During the last week of July, "Poison Heart" (from Optimizer CD) and "Cuando Baje la Marea" (from the 1st CD) has been added to the normal rotation of the radio station. You can listen to the radio clicking HERE.

- NEW ALIVE PHOTOS.

We have recieved some alive photos from Tomalo at the "Rock & Roll All Nite Festival I" (2001). You will also find a photo of Zar at Obras Sanitarias (2001), when the band opened for Vince Neil Band. You would be able to see this pictures clicking HERE.

- NEW STUDIO CD.

During last february, Tomalo started to record their 4th studio album in Howard`s Jail. The CD would be edited and it will contain between 13 and 15 songs. Nowadays they are working in a darker image and design.
The band has already made the photo session for the new album. This work was in charge of Pablo Brand y Viviana Ramella.

 

- OPTIMIZER INTERACTIVE COVERS IS OVER!!!

The interactive covers album that Tomalo started at the end of year 2002 is finally finished !!! The hole setlist is finished and is available to download it whenever you want to. Each cover has its own ilustrated cover as a single.
Download now the bonus track. This is a spanish version of a known song from an argentinian TV show. Different and funny: JONHY TOLENGO..

- OPTIMIZER: BALANCE.

This proyect that started at the end of 2002 has finally ended. The album was supposed to have between 10 and 15 songs, but during the recording of the 3rd. track, we found us without the main and only important media that would make our proyect happen: The Official WebSite.
During some months, we found imposible to keep on doing this proyect because we couldn't update the album on the Internet. For moments, we thought on editing the covers, but it was against the ideology we have for this album. Finally the new website born again and we was able to finish Optimizer.
By that time, We had a huge list of bands from different styles ready to be covered. A lot of them voted through the internet (one of the reasons that makes this album to be "interactive"), like: The Beatles, Ramones, Def Leppard and AC-DC. But there was something that made difficult to finish this CD. We were ending the year 2003 and we had planned to start the pre-production and recording of Tomalo's 4th. CD by that time (we are recording this CD right now)... That's why we decided to cut the original list of covers and choose the ones we liked more.
We are 100% proud of the result of this album. We are recieving great critics and reviews from different countries for this album, and several websites have joined us to promote it.
Thank a lot to all of the musicians and artist that have participated in Optimizer.

-TOMALO IN SPAIN
The Hard Rock and Heavy WebSite ROCK ANGELS from Spain made a long interview to TUTE, singer and drummer of Tomalo, where he spoke about the begining of the band, the compositions, influences and the new video clip between other stuffs ... Thanks a lot to everyone at Rock Angels for this oportunity!.
Moreover, one of the critics of this Spanish WebSite put TOMALO'S CD Play It Loud in position nº 2 of his July Top List.

The band is evaluating to edit a video home for the beggining of the next year, it will show images of the tours, all the band press since 1998 (from radios, Obras Sanitarias show with Vince Neil, shows in general, the recording of the albums, photo sessions, etc.) The idea is to edit this stuff for year 2004 while Tomalo records their next CD.

- 4th TOUR AROUND ARGENTINA'S PRIVINCES
On friday May 23rd, TOMALO made their show in Apostoles (70km from Posadas) at the EL TEMPLO DEL ROCK radio programme party. On saturday May 24th and sunday May 25th, TOMALO played at the 3rd ANTIQUES CARS AND MOTOR CYRCLE MEETING at Parque República de Paraguay from Posadas (Anfiteatro Manuel Antonio Ramirez).
Everything under the name of "Play it Live Tour 2003"

 

-NEW INTERVIEW TO TOMALO
The fanzine TACHAS made the band a 2 pages interview. You can find it at May issue (Nº4).

 

- TOMALO IS ANIMATED
Finally LOVE IS... video clip is ready, this video is made 100% in animation by TOONNIGHT studio. In LOVE IS... you can see how a love letter wake up a furious heart that follows TOMALO through all the city, entering to the most famous Hollywood films.

 

- AND THE COVERS?
The promoted interactive cover album "OPTIMIZER" is delayed by now for reasons that has nothing to do with the band; our WebSite ( http://tomalo3.tripod.com) is not updated and we cannot upload a song per month righ now as we promised... Anyway, we are working on a new updated Official WebSite (http://tomaloweb.tripod.com) and we are making a new WebSite only for the Optimizer Interactive Cover Album.
We are very happy for the results of the songs, the invited musicians and the set list that we are making. Ya are still on time to participate and send us the bands and songs ya would like Tomalo to make a cover. We are wainting for your vote!!!
